Sensory boxes

These are some of the sensory boxes which the children experienced in class and which you can try at home.

  • Jungle ! Green coloured rice, jungle animals, leaves, measuring cups and spoons.
  • Christmas snow! Fake snow, christmas themed items, cups and measuring spoons
  • Aeroplane! Kite paper, folded paper and cardboard, toy aeroplane and cotton wool
  • Christmas! Red and green coloured rice, pinecones, jingle bells and measuring spoons
  • Cooking! Pasta, measuring cups, kitchen utensils
  • Traffic lights! Black coloured rice, traffic light coloured pompoms, toy cars, pasta, measuring spoons and cups

Dear parents,

Next week, we will be doing a cooking activity in class where the children will be preparing a pizza and a fruit salad. I would like you to kindly tell me your child’s favourite fruit and the toppings they prefer on pizza so that I could prepare accordingly.
